I am very proud of this cocktail concoction I’m sharing with you. This is my homemade, infused Pineapple Margarita.
I infused silver tequila with pineapple for almost 3 weeks in anticipation of this margarita. It’s exactly the same process as infusing vodka which you can learn about here. It was well worth the wait. Pineapple tequila is delicious! I was so excited after I made the first one that I made a big batch and took it to my in-laws for taco night. My husbands cousin Hannah was in town and she tried it and loved it. I’ll be bringing this to every taco night!
With a margarita this awesome it deserves something more than just salt. I rimmed the glass with a mixture of coarse salt and chili powder.
Special thanks to Bev for slicing the pineapple for me! I’m not very good at it.
- 1.5 oz pineapple infused tequila
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1.5 oz orange juice
- 2 tsp agave syrup
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice.
