Biscuit Donut Bites

Okay, guys…who doesn’t love donuts?  What’s even better than donuts? Bite sized donuts, of course! These donut bites are so yummy and ridiculously easy! You could have fresh, hot donut bites every morning, they are that easy.

We made these using Pillsbury Grands! honey butter refrigerated biscuits. They take just three steps. 1. Cut each biscuit into quarters 2. Fry them in some oil 3. Toss with sugar. Done. Hot, fresh donut bites!

Makes 32 donut bites

Ingredients

  • 1 package Grands! Honey Butter Biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar for rolling
  • vegetable oil, enough to fill fryer or skillet

Directions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 375°.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Drop a few at a time into hot oil. Allow to cook for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown, turning to cook if necessary.
  3. Toss each donut in sugar to coat.

    We made doughnuts frequently when I was a kid. Mom used a lipstick top to make the center 🙂
